As part of its efforts to enhance the institution’s visibility and influence at both the national and international levels, the Higher School of Food Sciences and Agro-Food Industries (ESSAIA) hosted a training session on June 4, 2026, dedicated to the visibility and ranking of higher education institutions. The session was led by Mr. Assam Boudia, a member of the National Commission for the Promotion of Visibility and Ranking of Higher Education and Scientific Research Institutions.
This event brought together the presidents and members of local visibility and ranking committees from several higher education institutions, fostering the exchange of experiences and the sharing of best practices.
Ms. Belhachat Djamila, President of the Local Commission for the Promotion of Visibility and Ranking at ESSAIA, participated in this training, which provided a valuable opportunity to deepen knowledge of major international university rankings and the mechanisms that can improve institutional visibility.
Discussions focused on promoting research activities, strengthening scientific output, optimizing academic performance indicators, and enhancing the national and international reputation of higher education institutions. The training also helped identify concrete actions that can contribute to improving the position of Algerian institutions in international rankings.
